The Great British Sewing Bee is back on our screens Monday 16th May at 9pm on BBC2 – and we can’t wait to see what’s in store this year! To enter for free, scroll down and answer the question below!
This year’s contestants consist of 3 men and 7 women, and there is a new judge as well – Esme Young – who replaces May Martin. Esme brings with her a wealth of pattern cutting experience and hopes this year viewers will get to see a lot of pattern drafting tasks and creative pattern flair.
It’s fantastic to see sewing on mainstream TV and to see it celebrated to a wide audience of enthusiasts and professionals alike. Need some inspiration? Tilly Walnes, Lauren Guthrie and Chinelo Bally are just some of the contestants who have gone on to flourish in the industry, so we are eagerly awaiting to seeing what this year’s contestants have up their sleeves!
