Did any of you crafty, creative lot tune into ‘The Great British Sewing Bee’ on Sunday (15th) night? If you are tearing up in devastation because you missed the beautifully festive edition of all sewing-lover’s favourite show- fear not!
It was delightful seeing last series’ winner Ann, joined by runners up Lauren, Stuart and Sandra and mentors Patrick Grant and May Martin. Together, they created a Christmas table runner, personalized napkins and decorations to adorn the iconic Christmas tree. As always, it was light-hearted and full of joy, proving again to the nation, the fun that can be had with sewing and haberdashery.
All of the amazing festive creations can be made simply using your old scraps and odds and ends left over in your sewing box, a great excuse to splurge on some lovely new fabrics and haberdashery items in the New Year!
